of some extra sunlight! today was an early release day, so as soon as they got home from school, it was off with the backpacks and on with the skipants! it is amazing how much you enjoy the snow as a kid...i was actually a bit envious watching them roll around the snow. i asked a and m for a couple pictures before they made their way inside.
i do love color...look at the light...it was amazing!

but somehow i always seem to go back to black and white...

we absolutely love seaworld and will go any chance we get! i didn't get many pictures because, quite honestly, taking out my camera and putting it away was such a chore. i am happy with the few that i did get though. =)

this child gives me a run for my money. we spent the morning and early afternoon in the er (the second time in the last two months). these were taken this morning before preschool - you'd never know he wasn't feeling well...and really i didn't know. mrs h called me to tell me he wasn't feeling well and was really sweaty. when i got there, he was sound asleep on mrs d's lap - his clothes and hair were soaked in sweat. i seriously just wanted to break down and cry...but i (sort of) kept it together and brought him to the er...he just did not look "right" to me. anywho, from everything i told them at the er, they think his sugar level had dipped down too low. he's not diabetic, but he's had a cold for several days and has not eaten a whole lot. he didn't want anything for breakfast and i didn't want to force him....so he went to preschool on an empty stomach...i am such a bad mom. =( thankfully, he's had lots of snacks and is back to his old self. =)
lesson learned...do not starve a cold!

but...i finally got a picture of all those new grownup teeth! it's amazing how big they look in her little mouth...hopefully her face will grow into her teeth...lol! and then there's the wad of gum shoved into the side of her mouth...what can i say...it's just adia being a kid. for me, that's what photography is all about...capturing who they are in the moment...imperfections and all!

i'm thinking vampire for halloween this year...lol!

she was invited by the U10 girls (she's currently playing U9) to participate in her very first soccer tournament (the scarborough 4v4 lobster classic) this weekend and i couldn't be more proud of her! i wasn't able to go to her games yesterday (mousey was running a high fever all day). i got all the highlights when she got home...the most important, to her, being that she scored a goal!
mouse was feeling all better this morning, so the whole family went out to scarborough to watch their last 2 games. they won both of them! They are an amazing group of girls and should all be very proud! thank you so much coach c and coach k!!!

soooo...believe it or not...i forgot my camera...thankfully everyone else remembered theirs...lol! :O)

she sang in her school talent show tonight! i cannot even begin to tell you how proud i am of her! she sang taylor swift's our song.

she sang from start to finish without missing a word! she did such a wonderful job - i'm so very proud of her! i fought back tears the entire time. hopefully i can figure out how to get it from my camcorder to youtube. when i do, i will post it! :O)

i may be a bit biased, but i think he is the most handsomest little boy ever! this is his last week of 2 day preschool (at the most fabulous preschool - thank you ms d and ms h for being such wonderful people), so i thought i'd take some pictures before it's over. in september, he starts 3 day preschool and then kindergarten...i know it's cliche, but i honestly don't know where the time has gone. i feel like i am on a rollercoaster...so much going on so fast...it's hard to remember the details of the

"if you let me take one picture, then i'll let you have a blueberry poptart" (which have suddenly become his FAVORITE new snack). he agreed....

fortunately for me, the bribery came with a condition - it had to be a good picture...lol!

she had her cast taken off on monday and will have her staples removed in a couple of weeks. she is incredibly melodramtic in the way she holds up her leg and gives you that "feel sorry for me" face, but yet finds it so easy to jump on the couch when i'm not looking...which she knows she is NOT allowed to do. i don't think we give dogs enough credit...

kindergarten spring concert

last night was her kindergarten spring concert. let me tell you, she is quite the little singer. she stood up there belting out every single word making sure that everybody could hear her. she was very animated about the whole thing too...so incredibly cute to watch! funny thing though...i had never ever heard her sing any of those songs at home.
before we left to go to the concert, she told me there was a little problem with her outfit. she explained to me that during one of the songs, she has to lift up her arms. the problem being...everyone was going to see her armpits (instead of saying that though, she just points to her armpit and starts cracking up)...what a nut! :O)
she truly has a way of making people happy!

iggy suarez went to their school prior in the day to introduce himself and to talk a little about the seadogs. the kids were very excited to see him play. he did not disappoint them...in his second at bat, he hit a homerun! congrats iggy!
